FREE Monday Hip Hop Classes

FREE HIP HOP CLASSES FOR YOUTH!! This is held at TAYC making full use of the facilities including the great dance area with large mirrors .There will be PROFESSIONAL GUEST DANCE CREWS and more…The dance classes are broken up into two age groups, 10-13yrs and run every Friday and 14-19yrs and run every Monday. Both classes start at 3:30pm and go till 5:30pm.

FREE Girls Boxing Classes

FREE Boxing Classes for all girls!!!This is held at TAYC, making use of the fully equipped boxing arena. These classes cater for both beginner boxers and advanced boxers. The classes start at 3:30pm and go till 5:00pm for ages 14+ every Tuesday and Thursday. So come and be a part of the fun.

FREE Cooking Classes

FREE COOKING LESSONS FOR ALL YOUTH!!! This will be held at TAYC, making full use of the great kitchen facilities including brand new kitchen ware. Youth will be learning a variety of meals, food safety and much more…The cooking classes run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All classes start at 3:30pm till 5:00pm!!

FREE Aerosol Art Classes

TAYC have made this new aerosol art programme, so if you are a teenager come down and develop your artistic skills or just CHECK IT OUT!!!! The aerosol art classes will begin Friday 25th June 2010 and every Friday after that. All classes starting at 3:30pm till 5:00pm for ages 12+.

Kids Art Classes

KIDS ART CLASSES!!ONLY $5.00PER SESSION!!!The program will run at the TAYC, making use of the awesome art room. TAYC have made this new art programme attractive for young people, activities include photo montage, aerosol art, mosaic, clay sculpting, and other crafts. The kids art classes will be for ages 9yrs + and begin Wednesday 21st July 2010. It will start at 3:30pm and go till 5:00pm.

South Kaipara Youth Forum or SKYF

South Kaipara Youth Forum (SKYF) is a youth led initiative in our community put together as an advocacy and political voice for Rodney Youth. SKYF is a voice for youth and a way to raise awareness and help make a difference on behalf of each other and those who don't have a say. It is aimed at 12-24yr olds. Come and be part of the fun!
