To date over half a million dollars has been invested in this ‘project’ or ‘community initiative’. In the early stages the community donated gear and time to do the big ‘make over’ and Eurovision Building Removals Ltd donated the use of the building and surrounding land. So just the free rent alone has been a massive contribution from one local family business.  

 

$485,000 has come mainly from grant providers such as the ASB Trust, Lottery Grants Board and the Lion Foundation, with smaller funds from Community Organisation Grants Scheme, Pub Charity, The Trusts Charitable Foundation and the Rodney District Council. In 2004 Microsoft NZ Ltd donated an outstanding amount for running our computer training programme to adults during the day. So a BIG SHOUT OUT to all those that have helped bring our club alive.
